Get Job Ready Award – Kia Takatū ki te Mahi

Congratulations to Sharl Fynn-Wagner’s Diploma in Beauty Therapy (Level 5) students who became the first to obtain the 2022 Get Job Ready/Kia Takatū ki te Mahi Award!

The Job Ready Award equips ākonga with the skills and knowledge to apply for mahi with confidence. It includes 3 workshops: self-awareness, interview skills and CV creation. Students then show evidence of work experience or volunteering to achieve the award. Well done to ākonga:  Georgia Howard, Kassedy Taitoko, Felicity Tana, Toni Johnston, Holly Nixon, Sherene Hooper, Dorothy Gillbanks. They all displayed so many strengths – team working, resilience, quiet determination and positive attitudes in particular.
