Customer/Service Person (2 days part-time)

Our team in Rotorua has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the branch in the part-time role of Customer/Service Person.

Your role will be to both help ensure our equipment is fit for hire and provide advice and support to customers over the phone and in-branch on what equipment is right for their project. We don’t expect you to know everything on Day One – we’ll ensure you receive all the training you need to be confident in our equipment and processes.

We currently have two shifts available and can be flexible on days – feel free to give us a call to let us know what would work for you. Our branch is open Monday – Saturday from 7am (closing 5pm Mon-Fri and 4pm on Sat). There may also be the possibility of full-time work in early 2022 if that was what you were looking for.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide hire plant advice and support to customers from a variety of industries
  • Carrying out all service checks in line with company safety policies
  • Carefully instructing customers on the safe use of our equipment

What you need:

  • Be able to work Saturdays
  • Learners or Restricted License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Willingness to be trained on our internal point of sale computer system
