Bay Blinds is an established local manufacturer of window solutions. Our Greerton factory employs over 70 local staff and we pride ourselves in manufacturing high-quality precision-made product that is distributed nationwide. We are looking for 8 students to write standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for two weeks from the 26th June 2023 till the 7th July 2023 from 7:30am till 4pm on Monday to Friday. This is to support new staff joining the factory team. You will be responsible for writing and developing SOPs as well as building and updating training modules for all areas of the factory floor. The Key skills required are:
- Ability to speak and collect information from our factory operation team regarding the tasks they carry out, the checks the carry out, the H&S checks they carry out and the overall performance of their tasks.
- Know how to use Word documents
- Know how to edit PDF and Word documents
- Know how to Insert and edit photos in a template
- A competent communicator, both in written and verbal form
- Mechanically minded with an ability to learn and retain technical information
- Detail oriented and highly structured
- Technically adept to fully learn and utilize company software systems
- Own a laptop to successfully write a SOP’s
